Giving to Whanganui Collegiate School

Now is the time

Now is the time for all who care about Whanganui Collegiate School to commit yet again to the vision. As current stewards, we need to ensure the campus will serve future students who will live and learn here, well beyond our time, for in doing so we respect and honour the heritage we carry forward.

Now is the time - Your support will ensure the School thrives now and for generations to come.

Since the founding of Whanganui Collegiate School in 1854 our landscape has changed, yet our purpose remains the same – developing children of promise into young adults of character.
The School has always been at the forefront of providing a quality values-based education – we are more than just a school. We work continually to ensure that our current and prospective students have hope for their future. While interwoven with the stories and traditions of yesteryear, our wonderful and inspiring environment creates the leaders, thinkers and contributors of the future.

Every day marks another milestone in the life of Whanganui Collegiate School. Educators have become increasingly aware of the effect physical spaces have on the quality of learning. Our modern facilities improve not only the School’s physical environment but also its learning culture and outcomes. We are very proud of the significant improvements made to our historic Category 1 Heritage campus, with our learning and educational facilities now state of the art.

However, the Houses and pastoral side of the School now need bringing up to the same high standard. As current stewards we need to ensure the campus will serve those students of the future who will live and learn here, well beyond our time, for in doing so we respect and honour the heritage we have inherited and carry forward.

A community is only as strong as those who contribute to it. Whanganui Collegiate School could not exist without the support of and contributions from its community. For generation after generation this support has brought the School to where it is today, and that will ensure it thrives for generations to come – for it is in giving that we receive.

I thank you in advance for your contribution to Whanganui Collegiate School.
