WCS Rowing Supporters' Club (RSC)

The Rowing Supporters Club assists with fundraising for new plant and equipment, refreshments at regattas, support at training camps, out of town regattas. Their most important task is to welcome all new supporters!

Two meetings are held annually:

  • Term 1, usually coinciding with Collegiate weekend
  • Term 4, the AGM

A committee is elected annually and seeks representation of parents from all age groups of rowers at School.

At Regattas

Everyone is very welcome in the WCS Tent – to new parents the tent can look quite daunting but please make yourself known to the parents running the tent.

We rely heavily on the WCS Rowing Supporters Club, especially on Regatta days. Refreshments and lunches are provided for the WCS rowers and are available to supporters and spectators, at a minimal charge (coffee/tea/water/salad/rolls/hamburgers/sausages/fruit etc).

Tent and Camp Food: Healthy baking, muesli slice, muffins, scones, pikelets, fruit, hummus, bacon and egg pies, cold meats and lots of meat is needed to fuel our Rowers.
